Where
Vruatrix is in Krakow, Lesser Poland, in a former bookbinder's workroom.
Directions are sent with your booking confirmation, so the first time you arrive you will know exactly which door and which bell. The studio is up one flight of stairs, with no lift.

What to include when you write
Put these four things in your first email and the reply can confirm everything at once.
- 01Which press or which course. The four presses are described on the press hire page; dates for each course are on the courses page.
- 02The date and the time. At least 48 hours ahead for press time, or before 10:00 on the day if you are hoping for a free press.
- 03Whether you have had an induction. If not, say which slot suits you: Tuesday or Thursday at 18:00, or Saturday at 10:00.
- 04Plate size, for editioning. Along with the edition you have in mind. The editioning terms explain proofs, timings and posting.

Replies
Usually the same working day.
The studio is closed on Mondays, while the etching bath is checked and the press blankets are washed, so anything that arrives on a Monday is answered on Tuesday. Write to hello@vruatrix.com.
